This morning, the School of Culture, Sports and Tourism Management coordinated with Dong Thap Tourism Development Center; The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Thap province organized a training course on state management of tourism in Cao Lanh city, Dong Thap province.

Classes will take place from 25th to 28th September, 2018 with the aim of enhancing knowledge and management skills, leadership, meeting the development requirements of the tourism industry in the new period. Participating in the class with trainees who are leaders of Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Department of Tourism; Tourism Management Office; Center for Trade, Tourism and Investment Promotion; Management Board of Monuments; Universities and Colleges of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism nationwide.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ngo Quang Tuyen – Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism emphasized the organization of training courses on state management of tourism in 2018 to foster and update Information on management work for the staff of civil servants participating in the management of tourism in the province, while strengthening and improving the effectiveness of advisory work, thereby contributing to promoting develop tourism of the province.

During this time, trainees were introduced basic contents of the topics: state management of tourism; climate change with tourism development in Vietnam; Master plan for provincial tourism development in Vietnam, tourism products; tourism marketing with sustainable tourism development … In addition, participants will have time to learn about the orientation of tourism development of the province in 2016-2020, learn the code of conduct is prescribed in the ” Code of conduct for civilized tourism “issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The training course also provided participants with time to discuss and improve their skills in solving practical problems arising from the management of tourism activities in the localities and units.
